We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data wherever you are located. This policy is designed to meet the requirements of major privacy laws, including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), the European Union and United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and applicable United States privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”).

By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

1. Who We Are

The party responsible for your personal data (the “data controller,” or “business” under U.S. law) is:

TURK AI

Email: info@turkai.com

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can reach us at the email address above.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data we collect:

  • Through the Site and our Services;
  • When you communicate with us by email or through forms; and
  • From third parties, where permitted by law.

It does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services that we do not own or control.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

a. Information you provide directly

  • Identity and contact details, such as your name and email address, when you contact us, subscribe, register, or submit a form.
  • The content of any messages or inquiries you send us.
  • Any other information you voluntarily choose to provide.

b. Information collected automatically

  • Device and technical data, such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and language settings.
  • Usage data, such as the pages you view, links you click, the date and time of your visit, and how you navigate the Site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7).

c. Information from third parties

  • Analytics providers, advertising partners, and similar service providers.
  • Publicly available sources, where permitted by applicable law.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of sensitive personal data unless you voluntarily provide it or it is required by law.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our Services;
  • To respond to your inquiries, requests, and communications;
  • To personalize and enhance your experience;
  • To analyze usage and trends so we can improve our Services;
  • To send you administrative or, where permitted, marketing communications;
  • To detect, prevent, and address security issues, fraud, or technical problems;
  • To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR & KVKK)

Where the GDPR or KVKK applies, we process your personal data only when we have a valid legal basis, which may include:

  • Your consent, which you may withdraw at any time;
  • Performance of a contract with you, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract;
  • Compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject;
  • Our legitimate interests, such as operating, securing, and improving our Services, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

Under the KVKK, processing is carried out in line with the conditions set out in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data for money. We may share personal data with:

  • Service providers and processors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, and security, under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations;
  • Advertising and analytics partners, where you have consented or as otherwise permitted by law (note that certain cookie-based sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under U.S. law — see Section 11);
  • Legal, regulatory, and government authorities, when required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property;
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Operate the Site and remember your preferences (strictly necessary and functional cookies);
  • Measure and analyze traffic and performance (analytics cookies);
  • Deliver and measure relevant content and advertising (advertising cookies).

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings or, where available, our cookie banner or preference center. Disabling certain cookies may affect how the Site functions. Where required by law, we obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction. However, no system or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Data Transfers

We may process and store personal data in countries other than your own, including outside Turkey, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or the United States. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection, such as relying on adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms, and, where required under the KVKK, obtaining your explicit consent or meeting the applicable transfer conditions.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Your rights depend on where you live and which laws apply to you. We honor valid requests as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

a. Individuals in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Restrict or object to processing;
  • Data portability;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing;
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

b. Individuals in Turkey (KVKK, Article 11)

You have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed;
  • Request information about the processing;
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used accordingly;
  • Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, domestically or abroad;
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
  • Request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions set out in the KVKK;
  • Request that corrections and deletions be communicated to third parties;
  • Object to outcomes resulting solely from automated analysis of your data;
  • Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

You may also file a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu).

c. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA)

Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and “sell” or “share”;
  • Access a copy of the personal information we have collected about you;
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information;
  • Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information;
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

To opt out of any cookie-based “sale” or “sharing,” you can adjust your cookie preferences or contact us at info@turkai.com. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) where required.

d. Other U.S. State Residents

If you reside in another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah), you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing. We will honor these rights as required by applicable law.

12. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights above, contact us at info@turkai.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request where permitted by law. We will respond within the timeframes required by the applicable law.

13. Marketing Communications

Where we send marketing communications, we do so in accordance with applicable law and, where required, only with your consent. You may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or by contacting us at info@turkai.com. We may still send you non-promotional, service-related messages.

14. Automated Decision-Making

We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing without appropriate safeguards. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide any disclosures required by law.

15. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age required by applicable law (for example, under 16 in many jurisdictions, or under 13 in the United States). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at info@turkai.com so we can delete it.

16. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal data.

17. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, we may not respond to DNT signals. We do, however, honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required by applicable law (see Section 11.c).

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when it was last revised. Significant changes may be communicated through the Site or by other means where appropriate. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
